What is a Vacuum Freeze Dryer? How does it work? Freeze dryer and lyophilizer are synonymous names for the same equipment. A freeze dryer executes a water removal process typically used to preserve perishable materials, to

Working principle:1.Powder: materials from the hopper into the transfer bin → the transfer bin falls freely into the distributor and are distributed on the teflon guide belt (the fabric thickness and speed can be adjusted).
2.Liquid: the material is continuously and evenly coated on the moving guide belt by the feeding agitator into the 2 swing distributor. Under the guide belt, the heating zone is continuously guided to provide heating and drying, and the material on the guide belt is being transported.During the feeding process, water content continuously evaporates, and the steam is quickly removed by vacuum → the material reaches the cooling zone and cools down/becomes brittle rapidly. Then it enters the screw conveyor and is transported to the pulverizer for crushing. The number of mesh (20-200) is adjustable.
3.Water evaporation: the water of the material is continuously evaporated by vacuum pump.Water is quickly frozen by the condenser, and the condensing liquid is discharged or collected automatically.
4. Cleaning: CIP automatic online cleaning system, diversified cleaning methods, can be used to dry the equipment after a full range of cleaning, cleaning effect is complete, fast, in line with GMP requirements.
